[SOLVED] I want to replace the power cable of my monitor to get a longer one, what should i look out for?

I live in the EU, and I own 2 monitors (ASUS VG248QE and an ASUS VS247NR), can I just use any physically compatible cable? or are there other factors i have to consider?

The ASUS VG248QE and VS247NR have a standard C14 plug so any C13 cord should be fine. -- Basically, if you can plug it into the monitor, you should be fine.
