I have one PC and I want to run two different Windows operational systems at the same time. I want to do this using two different disk drives, however these will run at the same PC and won't turn off until I want to do so.

1- Is it possible?
2- Can I do that using these components?
3- How can I switch back to the othe operational system as fast as possible?

The most important part is to make those run at the same time without issue and have a way to switch between those.

I think I may be able to help you with part of your project.

I'm running 2 versions of Windows 10 on one of my desktops. They are located in separate disks but connected to the same motherboard.

When I start the computer I get a blue selection screen displaying the 2 operating systems. Now I can choose which Windows version I want. Note that you can run as many operating systems as you want, and they will all appear on this selection screen (Windows only).

If I'm using Version A and want to work in Version B, I have to restart the computer to get the selection screen. I don't think you can switch between operating systems in any other way.

This procedure is 100 per cent hassle-free as long as you stay with Windows systems. If you want to add Linux, say, it's going to be rather more cumbersome, but not impossible in any way (I've tried that too, both on desktops and in laptops).

You can only run one OS, but inside that one OS you can run the second OS using a virtual machine like VMware or virtualbox.
Depending on your components you won't loose any performance either if your CPU has virtualization.

At the same time is only done with a VirtualMachine.

I use VirtualBox for this.

Windows 10 Pro as the host, and Win 10/Linux/Windows Server as guests.

Currently not possible to run 2 OS at the same time and swapping between them. What you might be looking for is use a hyper visor instead (aka Virtual Machine)

Do note that if you do want to use a hyper visor, you must enable your CPU's virtualization setting at the BIOS as mentioned, otherwise the hyper visor will not run the virtualized OS.

You run one os and the virtual version of the other os within it . Companies do it for multipul machines in order to save money.
