so i have these components
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz 43 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (10-10-10-27)
Motherboard
MSI Z77A-G45 (MS-7752) (SOCKET 0) 28 °C
Graphics
LC24RG50 (1920x1080@120Hz)
S27F350 (1920x1080@60Hz)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (ASUStek Computer Inc) 35 °C
Storage
111GB Corsair Force 3 SSD (SATA (SSD))
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 (SATA )
im planning to upgrade whole setup but wanted to start on the motherboard so after the motherboard upgrade i can upgrade the cpu from what i gathered i have the best cpu for my mobo

im a student in sweden so im not well of do you have any good suggestions for a cpu and a motherboard thats up to date and in good price range?
upgrade motherboard/cpu/ram at the same time
intel is now up to 14th gen. your is 3th gen, more than a decade old

Start here:
 
Pick the cpu/motherboard/ram in that order.

A i3-13100 would be a modest upgrade for about $125 US.
A ryzen R5-5600 would be similar in performance and price.

Of course you could go much stronger.
You should find MATX sized motherboards to be cheaper than ATX size.

Ram is relatively cheap, look for a 2 x 16gb ram kit that fits the motherboard.
DDR4 and DDR5 will perform similarly.

Plan on a ssd for the C drive that is larger than the 111gb that you have.

yeah ive had alot of problems with storage shortage on my C: drive so that needs to get upgraded as well thank you very much bro now i have a refrence to what to look for <3
