I was just about to buy a Gigabyte B365M H with a i3 9100f and 2x8gb drr4 2666 ram until i looked at the mb manual.
Manual - "To support native 2666 MHz or XMP 2666 Mhz memory, you must install a Intel 8th / 9th Core i5 or i7 or i9 generation processor." So as it turns out it cant, but is this just a theory? Just double checking to see if someone has this kind of setup. Im so frustrated, ive been searching for a mb that will support this cpu without any bios update, it was all fine until the memory came up.

The 9100f is only rated for 2400 mem by intel and because it is a locked CPU it will not be able to use mem at 2666,you can still use the same ram but it will just run at 2400 it's not like you are going to lose any noticeable speed.
