Thanks InvalidError, "K" & "X" models. The new IB i5's appear to be just like the SB i5's & the i3's, locked multipliers and you get what you pay for speed wise. Want more mhz? Pay more money. The pricing on this leads me to believe this is their "budget" line. For $30 more you can grab an i5-2500K and have some real fun.

There are also the "X" (extreme) models such as the i7-3960X.

Intel numbering SB-E in the 3xxx range irks me. They should have numbered those 2820/2930/2960. If they keep up this misleading numbering scheme, I'm guessing they're going to give IB-E 48xx/49xx numbers even though the rest of the 4xxx range will be associated with Haswell.

Hi

I have manage to overclock my 3330 to 3.6 GHz... up from 3.0Ghz. Would at a CPU-Z image onto this thread (as proof) if I could find the "add attachment" option. :) All I did was update the CPU ratio on my Asus P8 Z77-M. Im no pro at overclocking but all i had to do was increase the CPU multiplier.

Anyone know of another utility I can use to reconfirm my CPU-Z read outs...?
