Question i5 3470 vs i5 3570k

so i currently have a dell optiplex 3010 mt with 8gb ram and a gtx 1050ti 4gb, 600w psu and i am looking into upgrading the cpu from the i5 3470 to the i5 3570k(both use the Intel Q77 Express chipset, Socket 1155) so i was wondering is there much difference in the terms of gaming performance or do they preform pretty much the same, now i said they both use the same chipset but could i still run into any issues?

I wouldn't bother going from an i5 to an i5 especially when you can't overclock. Spring for an i7-3770 if you want an upgrade.

Chipset is the mobo not the cpu. The only difference is 0.2ghz which will be next to nothing.

With a GTX 1050 Ti the difference might be less, but there is potentially a big difference with today's games being more multi-threaded.

Exactly 1050ti won't help the output in performance. Waste to get an i7.
