I5 3550p overclocking turbo boost?

Is it possible to overclock turbo boost with i5 3550p? thanks

With the right motherboard you should be able tweak it up 400mhz from stock.

It is going to depend on the BIOS. Each has slightly different ways of doing things. Basically you just set the turbo ratio up 4 from where stock is.

Anything with a Z68 or Z77 chip.

But I wouldn't buy anything special just to do a turbo overclock. It's not worth too much. Better off just getting next tier up CPU and running stock.
