I5-3570k overclocking help?

Hello everyone I am building my pc with a enough knowledge to build the pc but I do not know how to overclock or anything so, as the title suggests I have an i5-3570k and I also have the asrock z75 pro3 motherboard I am planning on getting the thermaltake silver arrow sb-e extreme and I was wandering to what extent I could get my processor through overclocking so if anyone could help it would be much appreciated, thanks for your help

You cannot overclock with that board. You need a Z77 board to overclock.

The z75 actually does allow overclocking, though you will miss out on some other intel features as well as the amount of PCI lanes. Here is a small chart

If that is the case, if you don't feel comfortable tweaking, you can do 4.0-4.2 with just a multiplier bump and leaving everything else on auto.
