Hi,

I recently brought an second-hand Lenovo ThinkCentre E73 and had it delivered today.

The seller claims that the CPU is a i5-4430 on eBay, but when I checked it today it says i5-4430s.

Will this have a significant impact on the following system when gaming?

i5-4430s
GTX 1050 2 GB

RAM is currently 4 GB. But I plan to add in an 8 GB stick to make it 12 GB DDR3. Will this be alright?

Solution
There is a minor difference. The S chip is 65w instead of 84w and has a lower base clock but the same boost clock which kind of makes it more flexible, which is good for idle temps. As for gaming, you won't find any real difference.
As for memory, mixing RAM may or may not work, so its tentative. You have to try to find out. Better to get 2x8gb kit.
