i5 4670k vs i7 4770k for gaming?

im mainly gonna use my pc for gaming so i wonder if the i7 will give me more frames than the i5 =/

The money saved on buying the i5 would be better spent into a gpu.

At this point.. the i7 and having 8 threads is really future proofing if your talking gaming so it really depends on your budget.

honestly they do not need a oc for a gamer and you can just..

1. disable turbo
2. set cpu multiplier to turbo supplied multiplier
3. set vcore to turbo supplied vcore

good to game with no stability test and great performance from either

i mean if you want 8 threads with no oc and awesome performance and are going to be running a high performance gpu you could just buy a Xeon cpu.
