So my girlfriend is planning to buy a new laptop, but she has no knowledge in that domain ... and me ... I'm just dumb overall, so we need some help.

She's be going to use it for "student like" tasks: Chrome up to 10-15 tabs, movies, Powerpoints and stuff, Adobe Lightroom, DOTA 2 sometimes, and don't dare any of these ever lag or she'll blame me to the end of my days (maybe I overacted here).

I think this may be a little overkill for what she needs, but I'm not sure how well are the "U" processors performing, so we'd rather have some spare perfomance to be used :)

I found two pretty good laptops (sorry for russian websites, please translate them to understand the specs), which would fit perfectly her needs, but I'm not sure if i7-6500u offers that much performance to chose it over an i5-6200u + a full HD screen.

i7 6500u: http://www.citilink.ru/catalog/mobile/notebooks/338367/
i5 6200u +full HD: https://f.ua/asus/x556ub-dark-blue-x556ub-dm026d.html#??????????????

P.s: Are these much slower than an 4700MQ ? Since I know how it performs
P.s.s: Are these even good choices for the tasks I mention? Both cost about 750$

the only difference between the u chips (2 cores 4 threads) is a couple hundred mhz speed difference and more cache on the i7. the mq is a quad core with hyperthreading (4 cores 8 threads). so it should be better handling multiple applications at a time, BUT it uses more power so the battery life will suffer.
raw performance ratings: off the top of my head looking at specs--someone will correct me if I'm wrong
1st i7-4700MQ
2nd i7-6500u
3rd i5-6200u

Thanks, but I know how they rank against each other and I know their specs. I don't know if i7-6500u is much more powerful than i5-6200u ( a rough percentage would help me).
