i7 4790k temps

Hi,

I am running a i7 4790k at stock settings with EVGA z97 stinger and a Thermaltake water 2 extreme cooler.

The idle temps at around 30 degree
After 5 min of Prime 95, the temps reaches to 70 c ishe

Is it normal?

yeah its fine. also prime 95 uses unrealistic amounts of performance and makes your cpu get pretty hot so yes your doing fine!

Prime95 does some gnarly processes so thats not bad, the program is going to try and push the processor to its heat threshold and if it doesnt overheat, good overclock.
