Here is the CPU support list for that board. This is Rev 1.0. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3304
This is the support list if yours is Rev 2.0: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3450
The main difference is the BIOS update you would need for newer processors.

But the problem is, all those processors are long ago obsolete. You'll have to search them out someplace like ebay. Any of the CPUs listed that are above your 930 in the list(s) would be an upgrade. Expect to pay a premium for those CPUs.

Most of those processors would probably be in the $200-$300 range. It is really hard to recommend plunking down cash for that, especially considering they are long obsolete as you said.

My advice would be to look into replacing the Mobo with something newer. You can probably get a decent Mobo + i5-6500 + DDR4 for around $400. More expensive? yes, but it is a better solution than pouring money into outdated CPU's.
