Hello,

I have just upgraded to a a Cool IT vantage liquid cooling system on my i7 950, real temp shows 48c at 0% load, however when overclocked to a mild 3.68 GHZ after about 7 mins at full load the CPU temp will reach up to 95c, seems way to high for a liquid cooling system?

Been building systems for 9 years now, but this is my first liquid cooling system, the vantage it a sealed unit with very detailed instruction for the install so i believe it is installed correctly, came with its own heat paste, screwed down tight in a hex pattern. The CPU will reach 83c without overclock at full load.

Try using some artic mx2 or as5 thermal paste instead of the standard stuff, also have 2 fans on the radiator for a push pull effect. Unless your voltages are super high, i dont see why you would be getting that temp.
