[SOLVED] I7-9700k 3080ti Low fps in games

Specs:
GPU: Nvidia FE 3080 ti
CPU: I7-9700k
RAM: 2 16gb DDR4 3600
MB: Msi z390 mpg gaming plus
Win: windows 10 version
Monitors: 1 175hz 1440p and 1 165hz 1080p
Storage: 4tb HD with one 1tb M.2 and one 500gb M.2
Some games I have perfect or decent performance but in other games where I should have more than enough power I get a max of 15 frames no matter what.
I can put the games on the lowest graphics and still get 15 and I just have no idea why, please help...

Give us some examples of "games" that run without issues, and games that run at 15 FPS.

Did you updated any component in your system?

Is you Windows 10 instalation up to date?, How old is it?

Whats you PSU brand and model?

Do the bad FPS thingy haoppend if you only have 1 monitor plugged in?

Games that run good: Battlefield 2042, CSGO, path of exile, Valorant
Games that run bad: Spellbreak, GloomHaven, Rust (15 fps max most of the time)
Windows is up to date
PSU: Corsair CX-F CX750F 80 PLUS Bronze fully modular ATX power supply
all components are new, new system fully built and new version of windows clean
bad fps does happen still with only one monitor plugged in

On both your SSD, Do you have at least 10% of free space?

Whats your case brand and model?

Whats the CPU cooler?

If you know how, remove the side panel of the case (carefull if its glass!, and don't touch anything inside while the PC is runing, always turn off the PC and remove the power cable from the wall before touching anything inside!!!!!) play those bad FPS games without it and see how it goes.


If games work fine without the side panel then my following question will be:

With the side panel back on its place, What are the temps for GPU and CPU while gaming those bad FPS games?

You have two options here, download and set MSI afterburner OSD (https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/download-msi-afterburner-4-6-3-final-stable-release.html) there are multiple videos and instructions online on hwo to do this.
Or you can download hwinfo 64 (portable version) and run the" Sensors Only" option. This will show the GPU temp and GPU hotspot temp. Run this app, let it sit on the desktop and go play a game. When you are done go back to hwinfo and ook at the MAX column to check the max temps while gaming (https://www.hwinfo.com/download/)


Aditional question will be:

How many independent cables are coming from the PSU to the GPU?

Maybe check some settings about two monitors when running games. Check it in Nvidia control panel
