Hello guys,I´m here to show you this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPjqVC-BL8s

on my PC doing basic tasks like opening folders, movies, pictures, and so on and I want your opinion on how slow/fast it is because I feel is just too damn slow for an i7 860 Processor....

My spces are:

i7 860 TURBO ON at 3,4Ghz
8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
1TB HDD 7200RPM SATA2 Hitachi(AHCI)
RADEON HD 6850

And in games,I feel the same, that the whole system is being slow,is odd....Crysis 2 at FULL HD 1920x1080 and hardcore settings gives 32FPS...only? :)

Sometimes,in almost all games I get 60,luckly 80FPS,depending on settings but then again, the images freezes for a second or skips/stutters.
The same thing happens when opening folders, apps, browsers and so on...

Overall,I feel that my system is just too dang slow for the specs.
What do you guys think?
Am I right or am I being paranoid?

By the way,all drivers updated, everthing´s healty,I have 25ºC Idle temps and max.50,load,temp of the GPU is 30ºC in idle and 60 in load, everything´s just OK but something doesn´t seem right,is just too slow....

I think you're being paranoid, lol. That may be just a tick slower than my system, but I would never, under ANY circumstance, call that slow. The main difference I saw was that media info seemed to load slower than it does for me, but it still wasn't "slow".

Ok,dude thanks a lot, your answer confirms that I´m being paranoid as you have a similar system and as you say, runs pretty much the same.
That´s all I wanted to hear, someone with a similar system saying that my PC runs..well,´´normal´´.

Thanks again.

your pc is ok.i dont see any problem in that video.and yes in Crysis 2 at FULL HD 1920x1080 and hardcore settings you wil get about 32fps. i have the same gpu and thats all i get...if you want a faster system (not better performance in gaming) buy a ssd.if you want better performance in gaming buy an new gpu.

So you say you have the Radeon 6850 too....hum,then I will need to ask you a couple of things,if you got time to spare, questions about this GPU :)

1.Is not maxing out all games in FULL HD,is it ?
2.While recording,frame rate drops from 60 to 30,and that´s just too much.
3.DX11.Although the GPU can run DX11 in games,as I noticed,the best you´ll see in DX11 are 30 MAX FPS.Right?

Overall,this GPU is no beast,right?
Just a low-end gaming GPU,I would say,as maxing out games will result in unplayable frame rate.

Thanks again.

your not gonna max crysis 2 and get 60fps with that card.
as for above low end gpu your wrong. its actually pretty decent for todays games and will max out most games like cod mw3 and give a solid 90fps... but crysis 2 isnt a common game its pretty demanding as are all the crysis games.
crysis 1 will give you 28-45 fps on max settings. but crysis 2 should give 35-50 on HC settings so i would think your getting pretty much what you should... if you have a decent cooler then bump yer cpu to 3.6 or there abouts if you can and you should see a slight but definite improvement in your fps...

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crysis-2-performance-best-graphics-card-multiplayer,2901-5.html your getting slightly less than shown here but your not so far off that i would think you have a major issue. chances are its background tasks and startup items that are causing the slight reduction in overall system performance...(you should have around 55-60 running processes on a healthy well optimized system running windows 7)
to get the best from your system make sure you only have your gfx/mouse/audio and antivirus running at startup. everything else should be disabled. things like itunes and nokia apps will cripple systems very quickly as there often badly written and full of adware. so make sure you remove them from the startup if you have em. dont just disable em. remove em completely...

i think you best reread what i wrote. i never said it would max out all games... but it will max out about 90 percent of em. any game that was developed on console should max out with ease. but games dev'd on pc will likely just run on high... like i said its not a bad card...
