Question Ibuypower cpu restarts while playing games.

My pc keeps restarting randomly while im playing games Ex: It will go completely black, do the glitchy audio like the sound it makes when something freezes, then goes through its whole booting up thing , then were back to the start. Then I launch a game and repeats the same thing.

I’d start by contacting ibuypower and seeing if it is covered by any warranty. What you describe sounds like a hardware fault and any attempt to fix may have a risk of voiding your warranty.

its not under warranty its been like 3 years it was a 1 year warranty

If you are sure your warranty is up, take off the PC side panel and look at the sticker on the PSU (the box with wires coming out). What does it say?

Undo the screws and pull on it. It will slide right off in most cases.

In the instance your have a PSU shroud or the label is on the other side you may have to remove both side panels.
