I have just set up a 2 PC network via a crossover cable and have a couple of
questions:
Both PCs (PC1 & PC2) are XP Home OS's.
PC1 has an Broadband Internet connection via a USB Modem.
Firstly, although each PC can see each other and share files and printers
I'm unsure how to get PC2 to
access the Internet. Do I have to set up all the Account server details,
user name and passwords on PC2 as is set on PC1?
Also I notice that when I switch on the XP Firewall on PC1 it stops PC2 from
seeing PC1 (and presumably accessing the Net).
Obviously I'm unwilling to connect to the Net with the firewall switched off
so what do I do?
Suggestions very welcome.
