I have 3 drives.2 SSDs and 1 HDD.Under ide ata/atapi controllers in device manager it shows only 2 AMD SATA Controller. Is that normal?

Solution
looking at the number of ports available it would not surprise me if you did have two controllers.

Storage Interface
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4*/x2 SSD support)
* Actual support may vary by CPU.
2 x SATA Express connectors
8 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
Support for RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 10
* Refer to "1-8 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the M.2 and SATA connectors.

that series likes to dual everything up it seems

So showing 2 "AMD sata controller" is normal?

yes that is NORMAL. that is the IDE ATA/ATAPI so that is your sata controller under that category post your specs so we can see if it should be showing one or two. it's possible. does it show them both as operational and ok? this is the controller stuff, not the devices themselves.
