Hi,

When ever I reboot my computer my IE favorites are forgotten, looks like they are being resorted alphabeticaly?

This started hapenning a few weeks ago, about the time M$ had a bunch of new updates out...

One thing I am doing which may be affecting is that I have a couple of Folders in my Links bar which when they are over on the extended right hand section expand automaticaly which is nice. But these folders keep reapperaing on the left of Links, re-sorted after a reboot. Really annoying

I am using uptodate Windows XP

Here's a screen shot of what it gets reset to:

and here's what I want it to stay like:

Any ideas?

I'm not sure either, but please read thru the eBay part of this well-respected website & newsletter:

I found the answer!

If the "Links" toolbar flyout is activated in the main system tray it resets changes to the Links in IE after a reboot!

Good job! Still, check out that eBay toolbar write-up...
