The way some of these Intel trolls talk they would have an otherwise noob believing that in order to play Max Pain 3 @ 60fps you need Intel cause AMD will get dip down into the single digits.

No one said you have to get Intel but if you want the best performing CPU for gaming you should go Intel. Clock for clock the Bulldozer can't compete with Intel for gaming. You can try to play the latest games with a Pentium 4 that doesn't mean it will perform great.

Look at the benchmarks. It goes back and forth. In most of them Phenom II beats out the majority of Bulldozer models. Toms Hardware can say Bulldozer is the greatest thing to happen to computer since the invention of the PC but that doesn't mean jack. BTW tell that heirarchy to the people who had PhenomII's then switched to Bulldozer, saw how bad it was then switxched back to their PhenomII.

As AMuffin said there is no point in getting the 4*** you would be better off getting a Phenom II 980 Black Edition.
