Since when is my experience an argument?
I own a 480 in my AMD rig and a 480 in my SB rig.
Phenom II x4 B44 4.2ghz
4GB geil black dragon DDR3
MSI 790FX-GD70
Corsair TX650.

The difference is dependant on game.
Black ops saw the hugest dips ever with the AMD build (none intel sponsored).
BFBC2 saw around 10fps less in minimums (AMD sponsored).

If i am doing something wrong here i wish i knew what it is, as minimums are very noticable.
I have an AMD rig and an Intel rig they both play Black Ops a 60fps+ min oh and I run Vsync on

I will say that I went back to my X6 1100T as a lot of work I do requires a combination of IPC and thread count performance, which the Thuban does pretty well. This doesn't mean I have any ill sentiment towards Zambezi, which can in most instances serve to be a very good setup for specific users.

As I said before, the Zambezi's, more so the 8000 chips make exceptionally good workhorse setups for the price range, you get the 2700K's multithreading performance off a significantly cheaper chip, more so CMT is more efficient than HT. If you are a gamer, then Sandy or any first gen core I setup as well as the old faithful Phenom II is the best route.
