Question If I buy Hall Effect switches, do I get the rapid trigger effect ?

I am currently in the process of designing my own custom mechanical gaming keyboard from scratch and I was wondering if I bought Hall Effect switches, would I get the rapid trigger effect out of the box, would I get it at all, or would I need to activate it with software or something?

This keyboard I am making is compatible with QMK software.

You could look through this list but I am curious as to what keyboard you're looking at since not all boards support HE switches unless stated in their product page. I know everyone who have released a HE keyboard have software to accompany them, even in web version form.
