[SOLVED] If i put my very old HDD in my new pc will,it corrupt my current data in my new pc

i have a old HDD from my 2007 or lower,i tried to collect all the old picture from the disk but i accidentally dropped it from waist level.is it dead/corrupted or i can still get the pictures from my old HDD

You can connect it and try it out, nothing will happen to your current disk/windows, as long as the disk is clean and doesn't have any virus on it of course.

I think there's a decent chance you can still get the pics.
I've dropped drives before and they've worked after.
I've also dropped them and they didn't work after.
As long as you are just moving files....that shouldn't corrupt your data.

It won't hurt your new PC. However, if the drive can't be read, the only solution will be a very expensive data recovery. There's a reason why important files should be backed up, ideally in multiple backups, at all times.
