I've just upgraded to a ryzen 5 5600x. 16gb*2 Corsair vengeance 3200 and the MSI B550m a pro motherboard. But the ram was running at 2133mhz so obviously I want it to go faster, so I went to the XMP setting in the BIOS and selected profile 2, exited the BIOS and now there's no display on the monitor.

The keyboard was on and the PC is on but nothing shows up in display. Why is this happening ?
How to solve the problem? Help plz.

Note- I noticed the dram manufacturer of 1 ram is micron technology and other is samsung. Both are Corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Just from reading that, I can tell you have different PCB'd ram sticks, this is why you're incurring instability on your system. Work with one ram kit or a larger capacity ram kit that isn't mixed and matched.

I say mixed and matched since Corsair source their IC's from multiple vendors and are the only ram brand out there who have PCB revisions for their ram kits, in spite of having the same heatspreader or being from the same series.

I've just upgraded to a ryzen 5 5600x.
To add, if you swapped the motherboard, you will need to reinstall the OS.

I have tried using only one ram stick. The same prblm remained.

mixing of ram even same ram isnt advised.

they are using 2 diffrent controllers thats going to cause conflcts

you need a kit of ram

are you usa based or uk or elsewhere ?
gives me a idea what ram is suitably priced to you

make sure bios is updated to support 5600x as if it doesnt have the right microcode it might not work properly either.
