i need some advise on the components i have a spare r9 270 its very low end in this day and age but that is what i need to build around this is the Routh draft:

CPU: Ryzen 3 3100
ram : corsair vengeance LPX 16gb
motherboard: ASUS TUF B450-PLUS 2
PSU: EVGA 500 GD 80+ gold 500w

What case are you considering?
You should also use plan on a ssd of some size and type. It makes a lot of difference in everyday use.

I would consider using a i3-10100F for gaming. They sell for about $95.
It is a quick processor. I have built a few with them.
The stock cooler works perfectly well.

Any lga1200 motherboard will do. They sell for <$100.

EVGA power supplies have good and not so good models.
One thing to not go cheap on is the psu.
Buy a quality psu now and it will serve for a long time and can handle a future graphics upgrade.
