It is an old notification was valid over a year ago no longer, nothing to worry about.
I'm having kind of same issue.. I'm doing a budget build and I want to use the AMD A10-7700K Kaveri APU with ASRock A88M-G Mico ATX Mobo with the A88X Chipset. I'm piecing it together on PcPartPicker and it says "Some AMD A88X chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs." is this still an issue ?? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yJ8zHN
This thread is over 2 years old... Anyways, I have to question why you'd go with that setup over a less expensive Skylake i3 build. You could even go Kaby lake i3-7100 for a few dollars more. Here's the Skylake build. I just switched out the cpu, motherboard, and ram.

Oh man its been a long time since then but I ended up with a 8350 instead instead of a 6300 and I chose it mainly because I didn't know too much about pc's back then and just got into pc gaming and thought more cores = good but I did eventually end up learning more and found out that was false. My old build was decent but I have completely upgraded it as now I have a 7700k, 16gb of ram, aio cooler, and a 1080 that's on its way here.
