the portable version of UltraVirusKiller has a 'Kill all processes' sub-option under 'Processes' which should terminate every process not needed...
(portable version is fine, no need to install)

Microsoft's Process Explorer will let you see what processes are spawned by what applications, as well as view Virus Total declarations on said processes.

A quick run of Malwarebytes' Antimalware never hurts, as well...

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

Also use Resource Monitor to observe system performance.

Determine if you can associate the occurrence of high CPU temperatures with any given game or application.

Or perhaps some combination of games and applications.

What all is being launched in Task Manager? Disable applications that you recognize and do not always need to run in the background.

Research anything running that you do not recognize.

My issue solved by just replacing thermal paste :)
