My old rig was in a Cooler Master Storm Trooper ATX Full Tower. Cable management was next to impossible in it, so I want to go for something a lot bigger with my new rig.

The options I've found so far are either a Corsair Obsidian 1000D (£400) or a Thermaltake CTE C750 Air (£130). I fell in love with the Fractal Design North XL, but it's nowhere near big enough. I have about £450 left in my budget for a case.

These are the components I'll be putting in it.

CPU

  • AMD Ryzen 9 7950X

CPU Cooler

  • ID-Cooling Frozn A720

Motherboard

  • ASUS ProArt X670E-Creator WiFi

Memory

  • Corsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB (2 x 32GB) 5600MHz

Storage

  • Samsung 980 PRO 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD (for OS and applications)
  • Samsung 870 QVO 4TB SATA SSD (for additional storage and projects)
  • Seagate BarraCuda 8TB HDD (for bulk storage)

Power Supply

  • Corsair RM1000x 1000W PSU

Thank you so much for the effort.

I can't believe I forgot to put my 4080 super into the build list.. very silly of me.

I'm not running liquid cooling so I hope I can fit everything into the X71. I'll just have to find somewhere to put my drives :) Looks like there's a place under the PSU shroud.

Wow you could put 19 140mm fans in the Core W100
That's nothing, Tt Core W200 can have 31x 140mm fans in it, :sol:
specs: https://www.thermaltake.com/core-w200.html

And all that can be further expanded with Tt Core P200,
specs: https://www.thermaltake.com/core-p200.html

One step up from W200 would be server rack. :cheese:
Tt Core P200 is on sale on amazon UK but since there's no W200 on sale at amazon UK, no point to link P200, because P200 is useless without W200.

Should fit fine.

For drives, you can mount them behind MoBo tray or the modular drive cage, that you can move around within the chassis.

Awesome thank you, ill post pics of it in a week or two's time when it's built. idk how to select your list of cases as the best answer.. cant see the option to do it. Thanks anyway.
