Question I'm unable to switch between Legacy and UEFI BIOS modes ?

Hi, According to HWINFO64 my laptop's motherboard does support UEFI boot but i currently have Legacy boot and there's no option to switch between Legacy or Uefi in my laptop's Bios Menu

I'm on the latest and last version of BIOS released for my laptop which is P07RAC. I want to convert it to Uefi and have secure boot option which is currently not available in the bios menu. what should i do?

According to your laptop's support site, do you have any BIOS updates pending? If so, update your BIOS and see if the option to disable Legacy Boot is present within BIOS.

Can you pass on images(or a video) of your BIOS menu...after getting into the laptop's BIOS? Just for the sake of relevance, what processor is on your laptop?

Hi, i do not have any bios update pending, im on the latest Bios version available which is P07RAC.
The processor is i7-3612QM

what should i do?

If there is no secure boot option in BIOS, then you can not enable it.
You can convert to UEFI, but without secure boot.
Secure boot is an option in UEFI (they are not the same thing).

You could ask Samsung support, to make you custom BIOS with secure boot support.
But chances of them doing that is virtually zero.

To get secure boot, you'll have to get a new laptop.

here is a video showing your actual bios ,. watch and follow it until you get to "secure boot configuration" if the 1st option once in "secure boot conguration"
