Question I'm wondering if I need a new PSU

The one I currently have is a 450 watt psu and I recently upgraded from a rx 580 to a 6650 xt. My pc has a ryzen 7 5700x, 1 1tb ssd and 1 1tb hdd, stock cpu cooler and 2 phanteks fans, and 24 gb of ram, 2400mhz (asking because my computer seems to be running slower) also when I load games, my new gpu only uses about 50-60 watts but has a higher gpu usage % compared to my old rx 580 which would average 80-90 watts (I also have a b350m bazooka motherboard)

Plugged in my old gpu and it runs at pcie x16, while my rx 6650xt only goes to x8, is that any cause for concern?

That is the way AMD designed that GPU. It only uses x8, not the full x16 of more capable GPUs.

Motherboard peeked 52 c when playing warzone in high settings, cpu peaked 79c, and gpu peaked 70c at the hotspot

the cpu temp is quite high 79 degrees is not far from a thermal throttling

warzone is also cpu intensive

what resolution are you playing at ?

get at least a 1500 wat power supply that way its future proofed for the rest of your life. very little cost difference
