Question IMAP/SMTP email & Windows 10

I recently got a computer with Windows 10, which I’ve pretty much figured out, except for one thing. I can import my gmail on the Windows 10 mail app, but not my COX email. I’ve double checked the addresses, ports, etc. but I still can’t import my email. I have no issue importing it to my Apple devices. Very weird. Has anyone else had this issue? Before you ask, I did try a “sfc /scannow” in the powershell, but there are no issues there.

What happens when to try to add the account to Win 10 Mail app?

Check with COX what mail protocol (IMAP, POP3) they support, and choose the correct one when adding it to Win10 mail app.

Weirdly, I deleted out the COX account, re-entered it, and now it's working! Go figure...
