Approximate Purchase Date: Tomorrow night

Budget Range: $1250.00

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, gaming, gaming!

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Need to purchase everything but the Power supply and a heat sync...i have a ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED 120mm 2 Ball Low-noise Blue LED CPU Cooler, which is a cooler master 1000w. I also would like a full ATX tower but have a cooler master one picked out for $160(COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced RC-932-KKN5-GP Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0, Black Interior and Four Fans-1x 230mm front RED LED fan, 1x 140mm rear fan, 1x 230mm top fan, and 1x 230mm side fan), which does NOT need to be deducted from the budget i listed above. I also have a gtx 560ti, but this could be upgraded if need be.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com

Location: Sherwood, Arkansas, 72120

Parts Preferences: I would like all the parts to be very reputable. I use to know computer parts so well and i have put two systems together myself over the past 9 years....however now i cannot seem to find a motherboard that won't confuse me, as i haven't had to mess with bios before.

Overclocking: Whatever is the medium? In terms of being safe, but still having a very very fast cpu.

SLI or Crossfire: if you can find two cards that you don't think will overheat then two would be awesome. If one will do the job nicely for bf3/crysis3 then one works.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

Additional Comments:I just don't want to mess with too many things besides drivers and such. I would like to load games exceptionally fast and boot up my computer very very quickly and also maintain 60+ fps in every encounter in bf3 and diablo 3(non resource intensive you would think....but blizzard sucks at coding imo)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I have a 775 socket mb with ddr2 and a case with no working fans and an 8200 core duo cpu.

These parts should be compatible right? And for about 200 more i think are worth it. I'd appreciate some more feedback. But if no one replies I'll take into consideration the previous builds posted. i guess i shouldn't have put emphasis on a budget, rather building a very sick gaming rig, that i don't want to upgrade for years. I haven't messed with ATI since the 9800pro so how do their cards compare to the EVGA's that are so hard to beat in terms of reliability....at least in my experience?

They're compatible but the Sabertooth is *NOT* worth the money. You can get a full featured board for $100 less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

I'd also get a different SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147163

On a gaming rig the 3770K won't be fully utilized - drop that to the i5-3570K and drop the 16GB of RAM to 8GB - that will be far more efficient and you'll save quite a bit of money which you can use elsewhere - upgrading the case or storage.

And then the extra SATA cable isn't needed - your motherboard should come with at least three.

That build is a hose job. The Kingston SSDNow SSD's use an ansynchronous controller which = junk not to mention for the money you have sunk into that over priced board and a case the size of a small house you could easily step up to a 240 - 256GB SSD and a solid one at that that either uses a Toggle NAND controller or Marvel controller. Look for a card with non reference cooling like the MSI or Gigabyte GTX 670's. 2x8GB of RAM for a gaming build? 8GB is over kill but RAM is cheap atm and it's a way of future proofing. Same with that 3770K. I mean if you were doing apps that utilized hyperthreading I could understand but 3570K actually beats out the 3770K in more games than naught.

Look at the Asrock z77 extreme6 on newegg for $190 and combo it with Windows7 to save $10 - $15. Tom's did a review on that board against 5 other boards in it's price range and it cleaned house. The 3570K combo's with a bunch of RAM...like sets of 2x4GB CL9 1.5v to save another $11. Crucial Balistix, G.Skill, etc... Then look at the 256GB Samsung SSD for $199.99 on newegg. For a mondo size case that comes with a multi channel fan controller, LED on/off switch, dust filters, 200mm side fan, etc.... look at the Corsair 500R on newegg and that combo's with all 3 of the Corsair 750w psu's to save money. That case comes in either black or white.
