In Hawaii, should I close my window?

Since I live in Hawaii, there is a constant salty ocean breeze, and I was wondering if that salty breeze was a big enough danger that I should keep my windows closed so as to minimize exposure to my computer.

Salt water and electronics do not play well together. If you have enough spray to create salty surfaces, you may want to consider where you place your system. Or, close the window.

if I lived in Hawaii. I would have a laptop... and head to the beach.. that said.. if you have screen in your window it will reduce the amount of salt water from entering home, but as long as computer is not directly under the window, the particulate water isn't likely to enter the computer.
