Kinda right there. Personally, I would have thought that most of these computers would have blackscreened due to heat LONG before they got that bad and someone would have noticed the issue..Wow, these pictures just show how robust the hardware actually is if it can survive this kind of treatment
Funny, I've cleaned computers where someone in the house has smoked around it and there is no smell to it. Listen.... cigarette smoke RISES when it comes out of your mouth. So most of the residue would get on the walls and roof, not inside the computer which usually sits on the floor.I do computer repair. One customer brought in a machine that stopped working. It was FULL of brown powder. The fans had stopped and it overheated. It was used in a flour mill.
I can always tell if the owner's a smoker. I'm working on one like that right now; it would easily fit in your list. Oh, and the smell...
