Hey everyone!

I am in the market for a fan controller for my case. However, I am looking for one that would still allow me to close the door of my case. I am using this case as of right now... I'm not sure what is out there in the market.. but I am willing to dish out some money if I can find a controller with either really short knobs... or a controller that utilizes some other means of changing voltages, etc. Any and all suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

I keep hearing good things about ZM-MFC1 (the one with knobs) but i'm personaly using TT A2349, it has nice LCD display which also shows sys temperatures in addition to fan control and it works great.

The MFC1 is a nice controller. A little more expensive than the Sunbeam Rheobus, but I like the two switches that go from 12V/5V. The key on either of these controllers is how much space is between the front panel and the door. I would think/hope, that there is enough space, but I can't guarantee it.

Yeah, I will have to somehow figure out a way to measure the clearance within the given space. I totally love how the MFC1 looks... but the knob being on the end, as opposed to being towards the middle, leaves me with even less clearance... or atleast I think.

Thanks for the replies guys, you all rock~!

i apologize for the bad link above. here's another link: http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/review.php?item=sunbeamtheta&file=1

ncix.com sells them for about $20. it's a pci card so no unsightly mess in the front bays like other fan controllers.

it can control eight fans/lights and it comes with eight thermal sensors which can be taped anywhere, i.e. hard disks, gpu, northbridge. i ran my wires under the motherboard to hide the mess.

fans have multiple modes controlled through windows only software. once you've customized the settings, the card retains the settings even after power off or running another os.
