Is there a compatibility problem between Via's KT400 and the FX5700 ? Because after I've changed my GF4 Titanium with this Asus FX 5700, system crashes appeared. The motherboard is an Asus A7V8X-X, and it ran perfectly before I've changed the video card.

I would try loading the latest driver off nvidia's website. Be sure to remove the old driver first using the uninstall program on your cd, or add/remove programs in the control panel. You might also have a power supply issue. Newer cards need more juice to run stable.

I've downloaded 66.93 drivers and it's the same prob. I've thought about the PSU although I don't think it's such a big difference between the FX 5700 and the TI4200. On the other hand the first has 128MB RAM and the second had only 64. Anyway I'm looking forward to borrow a stronger PSU from a friend.

I've tried with a more powerfull PSU and the system doesn't reset, I've managed to run 3dmark2003 once, but after I tried it the second time it quited to desktop(no sudden reset). Could it be from the AGP apperture size ? I've set it to 256MB, i have 512MB installed on the computer and the graphics memory is 128MB. Should I set it to 512MB ?

Could be a video card problem, and not the mainboard. You'll have to decide how to go about testing individual components. I've guessed wrong before, and wasted alot of time exchanging stuff. Some folks have also had issues with windows xp service pack 2, and had to uninstall it.
