Incompatible RAM on my Asus B85M-G

I recently bought a new motherboard (Asus B85M-G) and processor (Intel i7-4790K) to upgrade my machine. Now I've installed it and find no signal to my monitor. After trying several options and disconnecting everything i don't need, the system will boot on only 1 memory bank (in the DIMM B1 module). As soon as I insert a 2nd bank it won't work.
According to the asus QVL list my memory banks (2 GB Kinston KP223C-ELD - 3x) are not compatible.

Could this be the issue and should I by new memory or might the mobo be broken.

you are welcome! looking forward to hearing from you

Dear Chris, I did the bios update, and this partially solves my problem. I can now boot with 2 memory banks in the DIMM B1&B2. As soon as I put a memory bank in the DIMM A1or2 and I power up it seems the system tries to reboot constantly. The fans start up, go down, up, etc.
So the question remains. mobo fried (or the DIMM A banks at least) or incompatible memory?

Dear Smorizio, tried that as well, but as soon as I put a memory bank into slot A1 or A2 (even 1) the fan spin up, down, up, down, etc, but no boot. Only if I put bank into B1 and/or B2 it boots.

Chris, this is indeed my ram. So your advice is to by new RAM which defaults at 1.5V?

Hi Chris, tried to tweak the voltage, but without results. I am going to the shop to buy a new kit. I will let you know the results later today. For now thanks for your support.

Solution

Hi Chris, new RAM installed, but still the same issue. Now I am sure my mobo is fried. DIMM B1 & B2 are working, but DIMA A1 & A2 are not. Now I do have 8 GB, so it is working at least. I will get back to the supplier to get a new mobo. Again thanks for your support.
