I have not made any changes, at this point, to my standard overclock on a new system. When I run the initial benchmark in the Intel Extreme Tuning utility my pc shuts down immediately. No delay, I press the Run Benchmark button and it shuts down.

I've run a short (1 min) stress test in the utility, to see if I got an immediate shutdown, but the stress test worked fine.

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z390-E
CPU: Intel Core I9-9900K @3.6GHz
Core Volage: 1.375
Idle Temp: 35ish
Memory: 32GB
Cooler: Corsair H150i Pro

I've searched (briefly) through the forums and didn't find a thread about benchmarking/stresstesting. Can you direct me to a guide or some resources?

Thank you so much! I only play with my computer once every 5 years or so when it's time to build a new one. I always come to TomsHardware because of the awesome help and guides, but was just having trouble finding some of the info.
