So, I recently got this computer from a friend that said they couldn't get it running. I get it together and it's running great, but I noticed that I can't update to Windows 11 due to the bios needing updates to use tpm2.0 (later found out my CPU isn't good enough either) so I updated it, PC restarts and runs fine.
Untill I try to play any game in full screen, then the PC stops, lets me know that the resolution is out of range and to change it to the proper one. Except it is already set to the proper res and hz.
It's asking for 1600x900/60hz and my GPU, display adapter settings, and the games settings read 1600x900/60hz, so idk I'm very lost ATM with zero answer so far from reddit or discord all day.
Any ideas or ways to fix?
I've checked the cable between the PC and monitor, and checked the cables in the case for the GPU and found no issues there, I've reinstalled the GPU drivers 3 times now with no change, and of course multiple restarts.
Only thing I haven't tried is a full reinstallation of w10 but I'm doubting that will even solve anything.
Edit
Only thing that's changed is the bios, and I ripped out some burned out LEDs from inside the case.
