Question Insane coil whine in two new PSU's?

Hey everyone,
I recently put together a new system. I bought a used Vega 56 which works fine. I bought a 550W psu from Cooler Master (I know its under the recommended amount). When running a game or anything that has some visual demand, i.e. dragging something across the screen, the PSU starts whining loud and making very annoying sounds.

In idle its silent. I am certain the GPU is not making this sound. I bought another PSU, the HX1000 V2 from Corsair, hoping that would have no coil whine. When running a game, it creates even more coil whine! Is there a chance this could be a motherboard problem or something else? What are the chances of buying two whining PSU's?

Gigabyte Z390 Gaming M
MSI Vega 56
Corsair HX100V2 / CM 550Watt
16gb Corsair 3000mhz DDR4
2x m.2 PCIE SSD
H115i Watercooling

RMA what? The PSU’s or the motherboard?

Usually coil whine is from psu or gpu. Are you sure it’s not coming from the gpu?

Ik ervaar zelf op dit moment ook met 2 gloedje nieuwe PSU’s ook Coil Whine. Als ik hem thuis zowel op een Geaard als Ongeaard contact aansluit, blijft Coil Whine er. Maar als ik hem aansluit bij mijn lokale computerwinkel, dan is de Coil Whine weg. Het ligt dus aan mijn huis (uit 1983). Het is waarschijnlijk zo dat mijn huis een ‘onzuivere sinusgolf’ heeft en Piekspanningen. Dit kan dit Coil Whine geven aan alle apparaten in huis. Dus ook TV, Koelkast, Vriezer etc.

Heb je toevallig ook dat je lampen snel kapot gaan? Denk aan +/- 1 jaar?

Mij wordt nu geadviseerd een UPS te kopen. Dit kost een klap geld, maar zou het echt moeten fixen. Ik ga er zelf nu 1 bestellen can 1500 VA x 900 watt.

Een UPS beschermt je tegen piekspanningen en zuivert de Sinus-Golf. Maar bevat een accu die X duur je extra stroom geeft bij stroomuitval (vaak gebruikt bij bedrijven en Servers, maar ook dure of kwetsbare PC’s).

As others have suggested: Are you sure it's not the graphics card making the sound?

It definitely only makes the sound under load, right?
