Hi, im having this strange issue that i cant wrap my head around
when playing games and i move my mouse the framerate and GPU usage will drop to extremely low levels when my mouse is at 1000hz
has anyone ever encountered this or know a fix

so far i have tried MSI util to set my GPU to msi mode and high priority which used to fix this however now it is not.

Red is 1000hz green is 125 and blue is 500

PC specs are:
Asrock B450M Pro4 -F
Ryzen 3700x
16gb crucial ballistix 3000mhz
GTX 1070

Make and model mouse?

Make and model PSU? Wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance. Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Start by doing things with minimal mouse usage. Then watch again while gaming.

Look for what changes when the frame rate and GPU usage drop.

Mouse:Razer deathadder V2
Psu: evga 600w bought new 2 years ago

System performance I can't check now but from memory
The CPU usage jumps by 5 percent when moving the mouse outside games and in games the GPU usage drops to 25 from 100 when moving the mouse

I did find a somewhat fix which was turning off global c states in the bios.
This seems to have fixed the issue but as a trade off the CPU doesn't put cores to sleep

Possible some buggy or corrupted code.

Manually download the mouse drivers via the Razer website. Reinstall and reconfigure.

Also download the applicable GPU drivers.

Run the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Run "sfc /scannow" and "dism".
