I have issues with CD writers that they are no longer
recognizing when a blank CDR or CDRW is inserted into the
drive. I have 4 computers with 4 different CD writer
manufacture showing the same symptoms. I am using XP to
write. No 3rd party software is being used, however I
have tried Roxio and INCD. Same results.
They will read disk that already have data. Just can't
see when a blank is inserted.

INCD requires that the blank cd is formatted for use..
