Question instalation of NVMe to bottom m.2 slot on MoBo,will it work at PCI-E 4.0?

HI community.
Due to impossible tasks of removing graphics card, I can not install KC3000 on top m.2 slot.
Don't ask me why, I messed up pretty bad.
So if I install it to 2nd bottom slot, will I have full PCI-E 4.0 speed, any loss of performance compared if I'd install it on top slot?
I mostly connect USB pen drives,and have one SATA SSD installed,with using LAN (rarely).
I'd use the KC3000 as storage device, not bootable.
My config:
Asus Crosshair Hero VIII (non Wi-Fi)
CPU: 3900X
GPU: Asus 1660 Ti Strix
SSD: 860 EVO
m.2 NVMe: KC3000 1TB

Both M.2 slots support PCIE 4.0 mode.
So - you can install your drive in either slot.

Would it make a difference in synthetics tests (those numbers)?Crystaldisk Mark...

Yes. Upper (cpu connected) M.2 slot might be slightly faster.
But not by a significant amount.
