I have built many computers - but this is my first go-round with this scenario.
Computer starts fine. Goes into BIOS fine. It sees all the hardware. I was able to setup the RAID options and all that.
Re-boot, plug in Windows 10 Pro install media, it boots that no problem - I hit enter to install 64-bit version but it will NOT go past the initialization screen. Just sits there indefinitely.
I know once I get INTO the setup I need to get the RAID drivers loaded but I can't get that far.
Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus Extreme
Threadripper 3970X
128 GB RAM
4x 2TB NVME in RAID-10
AMD 6900XT GPU
I'm guessing it has something to do with this fairly extreme configuation. I've never build something quite like this one.
Suggestions welcome... I went ahead and ordered a Windows 11 Pro USB install media as well in case that is what I end up needing to do.
