Question Installed 2nd SSD, does not show up in Disk Management

Due to insufficient space, I added an identical twin to pair with my Samsung 850 EVO 500GB. However, after correctly connecting the SSD to the PSU and the motherboard, the SSD does not appear in the Disk Management

. It does show up in BIOS and Samsung Magician

, but I cannot seem to get the Disk Management to recognize it.
PC Specs:
CPU: Intel i7-6800K
Motherboard: MSI X99A Gaming Pro Carbon ATX
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32GB (2x16GB)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W
OS: Windows 10

windows 10, check storage spaces, if it there remove and delete the space

yup. the ssd will show up on either disk management or in storage spaces.
so unless you have another ssd. that would be it

I assume this is the 2nd SSD because of all the free space and not the SSD with the OS on it.

I can not thank you enough rgd1101 for your knowledge and time.
I tried everything from Windows Memory Diagnostic to changing the SATA cable, but to no avail. That 2nd SSD was sitting inside my PC for months until I came across this website and decided to put my problem on here.
