Question Installed game controllers empty

So, i just bought a nintendo switch pro controller to use on my PC but i cant get it working at all, it detects as a pro controller, but there is no game controllers installed, is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem currently, I was trying to get my DualShock 4 to work with PCSX2 and I removed and readded it a few times to try to get it to work but now it doesn't work with Steam either, which is really frustrating.
