Installed new GPU now my second monitor is being limited to 85Hz

I just installed my 2080 TI. I have one 4k 120hhz monitor and the other a 14440p 144hz monitor.

I can use the 4K one at its full refresh capabilities but the 14440p monitor is being limited to 84hz. I've already done a clean install of drivers, swapped cables and ports but no luck.

check the owners manual of the monitor. some only operate at 144hz on a certain input for example HDMI 1 or HDMI 2

Well I'm using Display port, the same I did with my old GPU and had no issues. I assume its' a driver issue.
