Question Installed RAM wrong

I placed my new memory sticks side by side. Now, I cannot view my monitor (no picture), mouse and keyboard don't illuminate. I read that placed in the wrong slots. Placed in A2, B2 didn't resolve issues. Placed the original memory and still has not resolve my issues.
Please help.

Ok lets start from the beginning. What is your pc set up, what memory did you have before you replaced it with new, and what is the new memory please?

I'm not computer savvy by no means. My motherboard is: ASRock B450M/ac R2.0
Originally memory stick was Crucial BL8G30C15U4R.M8FE

Replaced with: Crucial BL16G32C16U4B.M16FE1

I originally placed the replacements on slots A1 & A2. Check online and recommended to place in slots A2 & B2 but nothing.

Put back originally memory and still no change. My monitor shows nothing, keyboard and mouse are not illuminating any longer.

Did you reset CMOS/BIOS between changes ? Also try one stick at a time.

Thank you CountMike. I am at Best Buy where I bought the computer. The tech just plugged them in and working great. He had no problem. I feel like an idiot.

HELP. Now, I'm home. My keyboard and mouse light up but the monitor powers up shows MSI than no input. It's the monitor?

Apparently, the issue is operator error. I wasn't aware that there two ports I could plug the monitor to. Currently, at a doctor's appointment. Will follow up later this evening.
