Question Installed Ubuntu but can't install windows

Hi there, I just built a new computer and windows installation isn't working (I plug the USB in and I get the windows logo for a few seconds then it turns off). I tried to install it multiple times and I downloaded the ISO a few times as well. Eventually though I tried installing Ubuntu and it worked first time. Even after I managed to do that windows still wouldn't work. any help would be much appreciated

What version of Windows (if win10, latest?), What did you use to create the boot disk, what is your motherboard model and bios revision, is it running in legacy mode or as UEFI...

Latest version of Windows 10
I used a laptop to create the boot usb
Asus b350 prime
Not sure about the BIOS version as I bought it from eBay
I've tried booting the usb in uefi mode and in normal mode if that's what you mean?

Try downloading the windows ISO as a file, then use Rufus to create the USB with settings for UEFI install (GPT partition on FAT32 filesystem).
